海濱匯聯乘本地環保藝術家Agnes Pang 呈獻以「低碳生活」為主題的藝術概念店，鼓勵上班族由用餐習慣做起，共同實現健康低碳生活的願景。The Quayside is sharing green life messages with tenants via upcycling art by collaborating with artist Agnes Pang.

當人人都懂得惜食的道理時，就不會再有大量吃剩的食物被掉進堆填區裏。取而代之，我們周遭便可以變成美麗的花海。Agnes 運用日常生活常見用作保護蔬果的蔬果網為原材料，造出色彩繽紛的花海與垃圾如山的堆填區的對比，希望能令觀眾有深刻的印象及反思。

When everyone understands the problem of food waste and takes preventive action instead of ignoring it, there will be a reduction of unconsumed food ending up as waste in landfill, and we can have a greener environment instead. Agnes makes use of everyday disposable materials, fruit and vegetable foam net wrappings, in her artwork to create colourful and vivid landscapes, contrasting the dirty and putrid landfill, with the hope of arousing people’s awareness of the problem.

大量食物浪費是由於人們不理性思考自己所需。俗語有云「眼闊肚窄」，我們購買過多食物，煮食過多餸菜都會產生大量不必要的廚餘。其實，我們所需要的食物與想像中有很大距離。Agnes 運用從家人及鄰居回收用鐵線，逐一編織成一個巨籃，當中只放了數件用蔬果網做成的食物來引發觀眾思考：究竟我們需要進食多少，當中又浪費了多少？此外，互相緊扣的鐵線，就像人與人之間的聯繫，藉此把惜食的信息傳播開去。

A large amount of food waste is created by people’s ignorance of what they rationally need. They tend to buy, order or cook much more foods than they should or can consume, and eventually waste a large proportion of them. The art piece, a big basket with only a few food items, is conveying the message that we actually need only much smaller amount of food, a big disparity from what we used to think. The wire basket is made from garbage bag ties, small wires that Agnes collects from her family and neighbours. By connecting them one by one to create a much larger presence, she delivers the message that people can collectively become a powerful force for change.
