As I look back on the year 2023, I am filled with gratitude for the wonderful opportunities and experiences that came my way. It was a year marked by creativity, collaboration, and meaningful engagements with various organizations and individuals. I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the following companies and institutions for their support and involvement in my artistic endeavors: HKG, HK Red Cross, RTHK, Sony, Sunlight REIT, Standard Chartered Bank, Swire Properties (Tai Koo Shing), CIC Zero Carbon Park, HKTDC Design Gallery, and Peoples Place (Lions Rise Mall). My artworks were showcased in different parts of Hong Kong, including Central, Sheung Wan, Wan Chai, Tai Koo Shing, TST, Wong Tai Sin, Tseng Kwan O, and Kowloon Bay.
In addition to these collaborations, I had the privilege of leading more than 30 workshops and projects. Notably, I worked with three teams of secondary school students on an upcycling artwork project, which resulted in a winning piece displayed at the lobby of Dai Sun Tower in Wan Chai. I also had the opportunity to work with a primary school team called "GreenStarter" to create a wire sculpture for collecting recycled materials, bringing the joy of art and recycling to young minds. Furthermore, I hosted a STEAM workshop that combined Sony Mesh Tags with recycled art for a group of F1 students, resulting in surprising and impressive cardboard sculptures.
The media attention received throughout the year was truly humbling. I had the honor of being interviewed by RTHK 31, RTHK Radio 2, Commercial Radio 881, Ming Pao Culture, Taikungpao, Oriental Daily, and HKET. Additionally, my work was featured in various media outlets such as Life on Lantau, Am730, Metro Daily, On.cc, Singtao, Headline, HK01, Now Finance, Wenweipao, HK Commercial Daily, and Southcn.com. The support from the media played a significant role in spreading awareness about my artwork and exhibitions.
Overall, 2023 was a year of artistic growth, meaningful collaborations, and the opportunity to make a positive impact through art. I am grateful for the support and encouragement from all those who have been a part of this incredible journey. Here's to an even more fulfilling and creative year ahead!
